Filed Sep 14, 2023 63/582,647 - Provisional
- Abstract: The Echo Digital Emulation Framework offers a groundbreaking architecture uniquely tailored to emulate the expertise and learning ability of a singular human expert within a designated domain. Distinctively AI-native, the system leverages rule-based reasoning coupled with machine learning, ensuring an authentic representation of domain-specific expertise during real-time interactions. The modular design incorporates rule-based domain agents, allowing for domain-specific specialization, a responsive feedback mechanism for continuous learning, and an advanced machine learning agent to optimize natural language processing and domain knowledge assimilation. A centralized blackboard architecture facilitates communication and memory, segregating facts into session-specific or global contexts. This ensures personalized, expert-level responses while preserving a vast reservoir of knowledge. The novel aspect of this framework is its ability to adapt and learn exclusively through natural language, enabling the expert to refine, expand, and train the system in a human-like conversational manner. This not only provides users with a digital replica of expert reasoning but also makes intricate domain knowledge accessible and evolvable solely through natural language interactions. The Echo Digital Emulation Framework offers a groundbreaking architecture uniquely tailored to emulate the expertise and learning ability of a singular human expert within a designated domain. - Abstract: The disclosed principles provide a platform providing subscribers the ability to send custom push notifications. The platform is application-based, using mobile applications for use on a mobile device. Subscribers are provided a subscriber-level application from the platform. That application could be customized for the subscriber, or the subscriber may have a given amount of customization in order to personalize their own application. Users of a subscriber’s unique application download the application via the platform. The subscriber will have administrative access within that application, via user name and password, and can coordinate to whom push notifications may be sent. The subscriber can designate individual targets to receive those push notifications, or may create groups for receiving the push notifications. Users of that subscriber’s application could be allowed to shop for the subscriber’s products via their application, and can receive push notifications sent via the platform.

INTERPROCESSOR SWITCHING NETWORK
- Abstract: A message transport network (10) is provided for high speed switching between processing elements (72, 80). Clusters of low speed processing elements (72) may be connected to the message transport network (10) through a transport node controller (78). The transport node controller (78) and the high speed processors (80) are connected to the gateways (82). A pair of gateways (82) may be connected through a transport interchange node (106) to allow communication between processors (72, 80)associated with the gateways (82). A transport interchange supervisor (98) maintains a record of the status of each gateway (82) and generates commands to form connection between gateways (82) in the transport interchange node (106). A maintenance controller (102) and system maintenance processor (76) oversee the validity of the data being passed through the system on paths independent of the data transfer paths. The message transport network (10) may be used in variety of applications, such as a telephony switch (11), a signaling transfer point system (21) or a fault tolerant minicomputer (49).

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING PROACTIVE CALL SERVICES FOLLOWING CALL COMPLETION
- Abstract: The present invention describes an apparatus for use in a telephone network having a calling station connectable to a first switch means and a called station connectable to a second switch means, with the first and second switch means being connectable by a link. Generally, the apparatus comprises an interface having a passive in-line monitor connected in the link for detecting entry of a predetermined service access code by a user of the calling station or a user of the called station after call completion between the calling station and the called station and before either of said users goes on-hook. Upon entry of the predetermined service access code, a speech circuit of the apparatus issues a predetermined prompt to the user of the calling station and/or the user of the called station. Processor control circuitry of the apparatus is then responsive to entry of predetermined signaling by one of the users following the issuance of the prompt for providing a predetermined service controlled and paid for by the user requesting the predetermined service. Alternatively, if the parties are familiar with the service offering, the prompt is not required.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ASSISTING A VISUALLY IMPAIRED INDIVIDUAL
- Abstract: A system and method for assisting a visually impaired individual are disclosed. In one embodiment, when the visually impaired individual encounters a situation with an obstacle, the visually impaired individual employs a first wireless device to transfer audiovisual information about the situation to an assistant with a second wireless device. The assistant analyzes the rendered audiovisual information and provides audio information to the visually impaired individual which presents a solution to the obstacle.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTICAST TRANSMISSION
- Abstract: A system and method for multicast transmission are disclosed. In one embodiment, a virtual exchange network including interconnected nodes is embedded within a network. A sender is disposed in communication with a root node and receivers are disposed in communication with a set of edge nodes. The sender publishes a packetized data stream to which the receivers subscribe. The packetized data stream is promulgated by implicit signaling through optimum virtual exchange network connections from the sender through the virtual exchange network to the receivers. The interconnected nodes, responsive to receiving the published packetized data stream, are adapted to multicast N instances of the published packetized data stream to N recipients selected from the group consisting of receivers and other of the interconnected nodes.

WIRELESS TELEPRESENCE COLLABORATION SYSTEM
- Abstract: A method and system providing wireless personal telepresence facilitating collaboration by two or more persons, each in different locations, on a task at one of the locations and requiring visualization by multiple persons. A portable wireless unit captures/transmits video depicting the technician’s first-hand field of view while keeping her hands free to perform the task. The expert employs a management console for visualization of the task being performed by the technician while communicating in real time with the technician. The management console also provides control over video and audio functions including record, playback, freeze frame and image attributes. Communication between the two persons is accomplished by exchanging digitally compressed video and audio via a voice or data network, either public or private. A community server augments the system by supporting three or more participants and enabling communication across public networks.
-
